An Alumni of the Juilliard School of Drama, Shondra continues acting alongside her music career, being cast in leading roles in comedic, dramatic, musical theatre, film and voice over work for radio and television. Musically she has performed in concert in cities throughout California, Reno, Las Vegas, Canada and Mexico and star headlined on popular cruise ships and at parks like Sea World.
Her self produced original song and music video, Greed Incorporated, landed her an American Tracks Music Award for Best Metal Song 2019. She also recently won the Semi-Finalist “Bob Fosse Award” for Best Music Video in the 2019 Chicago's Amarcord Arthouse Television Awards in November. That same music video was also nominated in 2019 for Best Music Video in NYC's Annual Artists Forum of the Moving Image Festival, Widescreen Film & Music Video Festival in Las Vegas, the LA Music Video Awards, Utah Music Video Awards, Audio Shoot International Music Video & Film Festival in Ireland and the Jerome Indie Film & Music Festival. This year in 2020 she is a nominee in the World Music & independent Film Festival in Virginia and one more nomination in which she has been privately contacted with the official announcement being made public at the end of January 2020.
Shondra has produced two of her own CDs , Inside Fire & I Am and currently working on her 3rd. Several of her songs for the I Am CD are published in Unity Worldwide Ministries Songbooks and heard on EmPower Music Radio. She's written three musicals, one in which is a two woman show in which she co-stars in.
In 2007, she co-founder of Sedona Youth Theatre , a well-respected private acting, voice & performance coach. Many of Shondra’s students have won scholarships to drama conservatories, singing contests and pageants.
She touts an additional huge list of voice over credits for TV, radio, websites and film for companies based in California and Arizona.. Since 2003 she is an on camera & voice over artist on the Red Rock Channel 16 TV .
Shondra is 2018-2019 past President of NAWBO (National Association of Women's Business Owners) of Sedona-Verde Valley Chapter. She currently serves on four Board of Directors. Her awards for community service include Sedona Verde Valley’s Woman of the Year 2018, Arizona Foundation's 2017 Community Collaborator of the Year Award, NAWBO 2017 Community Involvement Award, PWG’s 2012 You Make a Difference Award, Good Morning Sedona Special Achievement Award and the prestigious AZ Foundation’s 2013 Spirit of Sedona Award Business Benefactor of the Year that she was awarded with Tom.
Tom studied at UCLA, L.A. City College and trained privately for years with top voice & acting coaches in California. He's performed both in Vegas & Lake Tahoe with his own shows. His operatic training landed him roles for the L.A. Civic Light Opera, San Francisco Light Opera and touring with Jane Powell & Company and Dorothy Warenskjold. In Lake Tahoe & Las Vegas, his show was the Warm-up Act for Tony Bennett, Shari Lewis, Red Buttons and J.P Morgan, and has also performed his own shows on several popular cruise lines on both coasts of the USA (including Alaska) and the Mexico Rivera.
He has also performed in musicals with Florence Henderson, Chita Rivera, Leslie Neilson, Darren McGavin, Earl Holliman, Ricardo Montalban, Dorothy Warenskjold, Juiliet Prowse, Johnny Mann, Celeste Holm and Burt Lancaster. Tom's Broadway tour credits include lead roles Lancelot in Camelot and Curly in Oklahoma. Tom's acting credits include his dynamic performance as Scrooge in “The Christmas Carol.” playing Gurdijieff in the musical and two CD album, “Crazy Wisdom”, Al Lewis in the “Sunshine Boys” and Frank in “How the Other Half Loves.”
Besides his experience on stage, Tom also successfully ran his own production company in southern CA for ten years producing extravagant theme parties for nationally known trade shows and corporate conventions.
Tom's voice has been heard on projects for Panasonic, World Fair exhibits and on films for Best Life Media & BR Productions. Locally you can hear his recorded narration on the audio tour at the Sedona Heritage Museum.
Tom & Shondra just finished another successful tour performing one of their own shows for National Performing Artists. Tom continues his 12 year run performing nightly at the Blazin’ M Ranch as “Otis”, performs in on-going murder mystery dinner shows for Diamond Resorts International and is also booked to emcee for city wide events, parties and conventions
